Hi, I'm Claudio Pogliani — a curious mind with a long journey through the ever-evolving world of ICT.

For over 30 years, I’ve led technical teams across Italy and abroad, navigating both the structured complexity of multinational corporations and the bold energy of startups. My career has always been fueled by a passion for innovation and a drive to make things work better, faster, smarter.

In 2022, driven by a desire to explore new perspectives and expand my impact, I stepped into the commercial arena. Today, as a Sales Manager, I bridge the gap between technology and business, helping clients uncover real value through tailored, effective solutions.

What connects every chapter of my professional story is the Digital Transformation. Whether managing hybrid teams across continents, balancing insourcing and outsourcing, or embracing Agile methodologies, I’ve always kept innovation at the heart of what I do.

My leadership roots trace back to an entrepreneurial adventure, later enriched by five years in a research and innovation lab, international collaborations with China and Australia, and a key digital project in Dubai.

Each experience has refined my technical vision and strengthened my strategic thinking — shaping a leadership style that’s both hands-on and business-savvy.

In the last 2 years I have been carrying out managerial consultancy at Clear Channel Italia, a multinational that operates in the field of OOH (Out Of Home) Outdoor and Indoor and Smart Mobility services, supporting the establishment of the new CTO who offered me the job and with which shared past experiences and professional challenges.

The main task is the PMO of the Bike Sharing system platform migration project, a core business of the company. Initially I was involved as an Advisor in the reorganization of the IT area and in support of the international corporate audits.

For Databiz Group, a holding company operating as a solution builder of innovative architectures and consultancy services with high added value, for 9 months I took on the role of Agile PMO and Key-Client for the Noon client based in Dubai.

With an investment of 1 billion dollars that involved more than 600 people from 25 different nations, in record time the company was accomplished to create the e-commerce platform Noon.com for the Middle Eastern world as opposed to the western Amazon and the eastern Alibaba.

As an Agile PMO I responded to the government and the results of the 22-person working group operating on 2 projects: the portal's supply-chain microservices system, launched in the initial phase with 20 million products initially for the markets of Dubai, UAE, Egypt and Europe in perspective; a specific mobile APP for the Arab world for messaging and VoIP communication with features typical of Whatsapp and Telegram.

As Key-Client it was my care to maintain and strengthen operational and business relationships with the Noon.com Key-People and to collaborate with the Databiz Key-Account for the operational management of the Client.

In the 2 years I spent in Casa.it, one of the main portals in the real estate ad market that hosted one million ads and conveyed a traffic of 70 million monthly visits, I held the role of SCRUM Iteration Manager.

I worked daily on the management of the evolutionary and maintenance projects envisaged by the annual product roadmap for the consumer area of the portal, interfacing with the working groups relocated to Xi'An in China and the Australian management since in those years Casa.it was owned by REA Group, Australia's leading real estate portal controlled by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.

Netech

The reorganization of production with the introduction of tools, times, methods, processes and procedures was the prevalent part in the past years in Netech, Web Agency and provider of distributed solutions and services for the Internet, which grew rapidly following expansions and acquisitions and which it had offices in Padua, Belluno, Brescia and Milan.

The software production was carried out by 20 resources and specialized in websites, institutional portals and e-commerce based on different CMS, APP for iOS and Android smartphones / tablets. On the systems part, the management of hosting / housing in the cloud on 20 Amazon servers hosting about 3000 domains gravitated.

I managed the creation, evolution and maintenance of over 180 projects including catalog websites, e-commerce and Mobile APP.

I actively contributed to the selection, recruitment and training of new resources, activating collaborations with institutes to welcome interns / trainees and leading to the creation of a company in Romania, still operational today.

Inforyou - Teamsystem group

The 6-month assignment at Inforyou, software house and system integrator of an enterprise solution dedicated to the automation of medium and large gyms and activities dedicated to fitness and well-being, required the development of the software production organization with a view to due diligence that led the company and the platform to become part of the TeamSystem group, now renamed TeamSystem Wellness.

In parallel with the introduction of times and methods, I coordinated the management of the development and maintenance activities of the product and coordinated the technical help desk for resellers and direct customers.

The installations integrated highly automated IP devices for access management with RFID technology for the control of turnstiles, money loaders, vending machines, Technogym equipment and any device that can be interfaced with access control devices based on ifare and / or 125Khz tokens.

Delta 80 - ACSE Group

The 5 years of employment in the Delta80 research and development laboratory of the ACSE group significantly contributed to increasing the skills of problem setting, problem solving, organization and structure in the methodological approach. The creative and exploratory environment required the ad-hoc realization of feasibility studies, business case analysis and modeling of the "As-Is" and "To-Be" processes, keeping me constantly updated on the evolution of technologies in the IT field , security and telecommunications.

Accreditations at the M.I.U.R. (Ministry of University and Research) of Rome and CRTT (Center for Research and Technology Transfer QU.ESTIO (Quality Evaluation in Science and Technology for Innovation Opportunity) of the Lombardy region provided access to numerous calls for innovation and research, allowing me to acquire skills in bureaucratic practices for funding calls, in particular the drafting of national technical specifications and regional innovation plans.

Integrate the management of the research projects with the path of Quality Management System Manager UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008, completed with the ANCIS certification of Auditor for internal quality systems, undergoing annual audits to maintain the certificate and a three-year renewal of the same, ending with zero reports of non-compliance.

In the same years, I obtained the authorization to experiment and introduce outsourcing and crowdsourcing into the company that are still part of my operational background today.

The background of the projects carried out was wide and varied, including: Web-CRM for the Beauty Consultants of Shiseido Italia, for the Contact Center of Philip Morris Italia, for the administration of mass-market statistical surveys; Mobile marketing with bidirectional SMS system; Environmental Management for the defense of the territory and the de-pollution; Mobile platform for fire emergency teams; Decision Support System for the prevention of risks and the management of emergency plans in the environmental area; Social Marketplace of participatory economics; Business performance analysis and evaluation criteria with Business Scorecards; Software analysis and pattern recognition for code quality analysis; Management of outsourcing of activities.

Coregain Business Solutions

The Coregain software house was born as a startup from a spin-off of ASA Italy, founded by the administrator where I spent my previous work experience, whose corporate mission was the creation from scratch of a multi-platform CRM system.

In the In the 3 years I spent in the startup, I participated in its foundation and creation of the controlled and delocalized development laboratory in Romania, taking care of the all-round technical part: design from scratch of the platform from a functional, architectural and graphic point of view, of team management of 10 developers in terms of results / recruitment / budgeting, managing the release of new versions, training the technical areas of resellers and providing pre-sales support.

The system is still on the market conveyed by a network of resellers with the new name OmnisCRM and still based on today's versions of the multi-platform RAD with which it was written.

I taught 2 lectures related to the nascent CRM theme: ICT course for a post-graduate master's degree in CRM and customer management at Unindustria Venezia; 80-hour Master in CRM at the Company Services of Padua.

ASA ITALY – SOFTPEOPLE Group

The 2-year employment in ASA Italy at the Technological and Scientific Park of Venice, a software house and system integrator belonging to the Milanese group SoftPeople and specialized in ERP systems and applications on commission e-Business B2B, consisted in the management of the development area software and after-sales services present in the main office, in the one relocated to Udine and in the foreign software development laboratory relocated to Romania.

Over the course of the two years, I completed the move to the headquarters of the Udine development center and increased the group of programmers engineers in the subsidiary in Romania from 20 to 30. At the invitation of the company, I began to document and study the nascent CRM, OLAP and Business Intelligence systems.

I was the founder and for 9 years I held the position of Sole Administrator building a staff of 12 resources and overseeing the administrative, human, technical, commercial and marketing activities. The commercial activity absorbed a lot of my attention, along with the general supervision of the company.

The core business was mainly related to software and value-added services of ERP systems for SMEs which in those years were in great demand and quoted, especially for events related to the transition to the Euro and the Millennium bug.
